Hammer Union Fig 1502 - 15,000 PSI CWP, Forged
Fig 1502 is the high-pressure standard of the hammer union range: 15,000 PSI CWP working pressure, tested well above rating, and the default figure on fracturing lines, wellhead connections and high-pressure manifolds. It is supplied mostly in 2 inch and 3 inch, usually with butt-weld ends and a wing nut for fast make-up on site. The body is forged - at this pressure level the difference between forged and lesser constructions shows up first at the threads and the seal shoulder.
